I guess there's a lot of reasons realy. First and foremost I think I'll be able to make myself workout if I have an audience. I'm the kind of person who likes to perform for others and if people are out there watching me and jumping down my throat when I stray from my diet or get too lazy to run, I'm more likely to exercise.
Second I'm a huge fan of the Bowflex Series 7. I liked it much better than the Horizon units I tried, frankly, they felt a little flimsy. When I first bought my Series 7 Treadmill I weighed close to 350 lbs. and I made the treadmill shake when I made a pathetic attempt to run. If I can spread the Bowflex gospel and inspire someone else to reach their fitness goal I'll feel this blog was worth it.
Third, I know someone else who started a blog like mine and they were able to quit their day job and go pro. I don't expect to go pro, but even an extra hundred bucks here and there would be nice. I'm a starving student and the beer fund has been deficient as of late. (Gee, SO hard to figure out how I got to be 350 lbs.! Haha!)
